Tomas is a molecular oncologist with more than a decade of research at top institutions, where he advanced from postdoctoral fellow to Principal Scientist and led an NIH/NCI-funded research program on the DNA damage response.
Since 2020 he has advised more than 30 biotech companies, CROs and founders on scientific strategy, non-dilutive funding and commercialization. His work spans technology diligence on academic spinouts, SBIR/STTR strategy for early-stage companies and business development for platform companies.
He holds a PhD in molecular oncology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His peer-reviewed work in high‑impact journals has been cited more than 1,000 times.
